Dry Ice Carts are the number one choice for ice cream vending carts. This is the case because dry ice can effectively keep things cold as opposed to the other two methods. When this ice melts, unlike regular water, it dissipated into the air. There are no mechanical parts inside this vending cart, and so the vehicle tends to be cheaper than their counterparts. Please make sure to note that handling dry ice can be dangerous and so it must be handled with complete care.

Removable Holdover Carts house cartridges that are frozen in an external freezer and then used in the carts. Cartridges should be frozen in a commercial freezer and then placed inside the vending cart. Once the cartridges melt, they can be frozen again.

The Cold Plate Cart works through rechargeable batteries. You will charge the cart overnight, and you will get a full day of use without the need for dry ice or cartridges.  These vehicles can remain cold in hot temperatures.
