More and more, big and small cities in the United States are becoming biker friendly. This means that bike lanes are growing, and sales of bikes and trikes are increasing. As communities and neighborhoods get more accustomed to riding, they usually appreciate when riding is made more accessible. By becoming a bike-friendly business, you can grow and change with your surroundings. There are two main things a company can do to become more biker friendly.
If possible install or add safe and designated bike parking spots in front of your location. Giving riders a place to park and lock their bike might be the breaking point between them stopping and them riding right on by your site. Let riders know that they are welcome in your shop.
Add cargo bikes or adult tricycles to your fleet of vehicles. Consider replacing unnecessary trucks and cars with bikes and trikes. Getting bikes and trikes for employees to use is practical and economical when operating in congested cities. Riding them is good for a worker’s health, and it can be more effective than a car or van (depending on what is being moved).
We can custom design cargo bikes for your company so that you can advertise your places as your workers ride around. Our cargo bikes are great for both business and recreational use.
